LIVING CHRISTIAN SCIENCE: Fourteen Lives

It would be hard to say that Christian Science ""dramatically"" changed the lives of most of the fourteen witnesses to the faith here -- although one girl, on a downer from drugs to suicide, did work her way back through Science, one diplomat was told to return home for hospitalization but was given a safe health clearance the next week, and one man prayed his son out of the ""symptoms"" of polio. The people here for the most part just attest to their true belief -- a diplomat, an opera singer, a black or two, a dress designer, a Nigerian, an Argentinian, and an Australian -- along with sustaining words from Mrs. Eddy's good book of books. For those that already follow the gleam.
