KIRKUS REVIEW

These four volumes (Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico) were reported for Spring publication on page /1/41). These are the first I've seen of the projected eight, so here is an added word on the finished books. Kurt Wiese has made such attractive pictures, integral part of every page of text, and the colors have been so faithfully repo, the books as well printed, that the general impression is exceedingly decorative and appealing. Consider them, however, as primarily picture geography, good introductory material, adjuncts for beginning geography classes, but not vital enough in text matter to appeal on that ground to most children.
