This photographic album of the activities of a young Bedouin boy features full page pictures of the boy and his desert home facing each page of commentary. Achmed is the son of the Sheikh of the Azame tribe, and as such has to take special note of the vital routines of his people. He is shown in his tent, at the market place, and in the desert; with the various groups in his community; at school and tending to his camels, and demonstrating his distinctive possessions. The combination of photos and text provide an authentic, you-are-there aura to the home of this appealing boy.
