Poor Benjy, the dog left behind when his human family goes on a boat cruise, is the picture of pathetic dejection--and of frisky anticipation when he gets a chance to board a ship he thinks they're on. . . and contentment when he's taken in by the ship's cook. Despite her seemingly commonplace cartoon style, Bloy hasn't lost her winning way with dogs.
