KIRKUS REVIEW

Another little experiment in international living brings si-si saying Maria from Mexico to Taffy Webster's house in Raccoon Valley, Iowa. Maria is very messy around the house; she does not ""theenk"" the going-steady system is very good; and she takes up ""boskatebawl"" and puts the local team into state title contention although, until the end, she is resented on the team. In the quid pro quo, both girls provide a little homiletic foreign exchange of values although it's certainly no ""theenk"" much of a book.
