The third of a series, which includes Anne Alive and Anne At Large -- and again thoroughly entertaining reading and rather unusual in the motive back of it. Anne has grown a bit discontented with her life in Washington, and seizes the opportunity to go to England for a visit, and on to Florence for some months of concentrated work. She becomes deeply involved in doing her share in revealing the machinations of international munitions activities, and the book will prove good anti-war propaganda for thoughtful young readers.
