THE FAMILY AT TAMMERTON

This little, too too typically British, creaky mystery features the usual fixtures--the family manor, the respectable squire and eccentric wife, his invalid sister and her relatively unknown husband, the charming and slightly enigmatic nephew and the young nurse who suspects that someone is trying to do in the sweet invalid. The only added ingredient is an unbelievably sensuous neighbor who had, years before, killed the young nurse's father in an automobile accident and who firmly denies being at the wheel while acting highly furtive about any reference to the past. It's a familiar ghost, in new sheets.
