ENDURING RICHES

Adequate feminine fare, this story of a battle, for better, for worse, of two independent people who finally achieve family unity through the skirmishes in which they engage. A story of adult married life with conflicts of temperament and character as Judith, Maine born and hred, and Cal clash at every point, -- money, child raising, relatives, friends, morals, etc. Their physical love bridges the gaps until Cal's refusal to attempt to understand young Bruce -- leads to Judith's decision to leave him. But Bruce settles the issue by running away, and forcing Cal to respect his grit and to come to terms.
