THE TINY MAN

Another fantasy by the author of Pumpkin. Ginger and Spice; The Roly-Poly Snowman-and others, this has a sea shore setting and tells how a figurine on a boat helps its captain find a new house. The Tiny Man, who has been on Uncle Jeb's sailing ship The Mighty Oak, is lost and washed ashore after Uncle Jeb has left the sea but is still unsettled about his future home. Sea gulls find the tiny man and as he tells them what he needs- piece by piece- their doings lead to a home for Uncle Jeb, his family, and the tiny man too. For the taste.
