KIRKUS REVIEW

If Antonio could make the journey to the city safely and sell the heirloom family chest, perhaps sister Margarita would be cured of her illness with the extra money. Taco, the family burro meant no harm when he refused to budge for an automobile which he and Antonio met on their journey. So the chest was in pieces. But Antonio went into the city and entered Taco in the burro races. The obstinate burro went to sleep on the track. Luckily a newsreel camera was on hand, and before his trip ended Taco had a part in the movie.
