KIRKUS REVIEW

The canine protagonists here are Randy, a Shetland sheepdog, and The Queen of Sheba, a large St. Bernard. Randy and the Queen do not see nose to nose while they are classmates at an obedience training class, for the Queen was over-friendly and Randy reserved. However, when Queen comes to live on Randy's farm and Randy saves Queen from the river, the friendship is sealed, paws down.
