APRILLY WEATHER

I'm starring this, because, from the adult viewpoint I think it one of the best High School stories I have seen. But somehow, I question whether first and second year High School students will see its soundness of psychological viewpoint, or feel that it is contemporary enough in approach. It might even be scored as a trifle snobbish, in the struggle between the public school and the private school standards. The girl herself is so convincingly handled, her weaknesses so sympathetically portrayed, that I feel it is a book that should find a place for itself.
