THE SMALLEST PUPPY by Margaret S. & Helen Lossing Johnson

THE SMALLEST PUPPY

By

Pub Date: Feb. 29th, 1940

Bena was an Eskimo sled dog and the smallest of the litter, so they tried to make a house dog of him, and he was a dismal failure. When he was sent back to Alaska, he proved to be the smartest leader of the bunch. These are nice books, with no pretense of literary quality, and the pictures, where they concern animals, are excellent. I could wish that humans would be omitted. Factual background good.
