KIRKUS REVIEW

Mad mortuary merriment when a shrew, one of her ex-husbands, her current heart interest, and a doper are murdered in a small New Jersey town. Lots cooking, in a household consisting of two ex-husbands, the divorced wife of one of them, an astrologist, a pseudo-psychologist -- and more on the boil with poisoned cold cream, dogs, theft, and a double snatch. Lunatic antics provide good bedtime bedlam -- and much humor. Straight jacket specialty.
