QUIN'S HYDE

A story is told, in the historic first person present with premonitions of future disaster, by Lucy Warren, 24, unswervingly in love with Hamer Godwin of Quin's Hyde. Hamer is an explorer-writer who has never shown any signs of settling down, particularly with Lucy; he also now seems to be implicated in the two murders and picture swindle in which Lucy's family is even more obviously involved. The seesaw here, with romance on one end, doubt on the other, keeps a pleasant feminine entertainment in balance.
