Pub Date: Sept. 3rd, 1942

Pelagi Doana has made Tommy a very appealing and likeable small boy. The story of the little boy who lived on a farm and of how, when he woke and found himself hungry and alone, he collected all the things he needed for dinner from the farm itself, will appeal to the youngster who likes to feel self-sufficient. The text is printed in type too small for beginning readers -- so we are putting it in this section as a might-be-true story to tell or read aloud.
