Familiar--and unfamiliar quotations, proverbs, verses, an occasional anecdote, categorized from Adoration and Animals down to Women and Worship. These range from the Bible, saints and mystics, to poets, philosophers, painters, few moderns, quite a few unknowns (namewise) and on the whole the collection reflects more taste than many which have appeared for this designation--quasi-inspirational. There is a little humor, discreet, and on the whole it provides thoughts with a pleasantly reminiscent or reflective value.
