Not a strictly vocational book, but a story of a girl who created her own place in the business -- and artistic -- world. She was a spoiled daughter of the owner of a pottery slated for bankruptcy. Recalled from Art School and put to work, she made bad blunders -- but eventually a real artistic sense and a good heart -- and the friendship of Julie, who thought she was going blind -- resulted in finding a way out for everyone. There is a bit of romance, but it is not wholly convincing and seems unnecessary.
