PINKY FINDS A HOME

This is a very original toy story, with a desert and mountain background. Pinky was a pink plush rabbit, and he was thrown on a dump in the desert among the cacti. He found he was not the only one. An odd group of toy animals were keeping house in haphazard fashion in an old iron stove, so Pinky, less adventurous than the others, took over the housekeeping. They didn't stay long in one place, however, but with each new home, Pinky found occupation. An amusing story, with unusual setting. Illustrated by Anne Heyneman in line and color, with humor and imagination. And of course one can always count on Holiday House doing a fine piece of book making.
