CONSTANCIA HERSELF

Substantial shakeup for Constancia, who-on the verge of marrying Ray, a crank for eugenics, finds out that she's adopted, and is afraid of her suitability as wife and mother since no one can vouch for her blood lines. She turns to Gil, his best friend, who takes her on face value and marries her; they settle in his home town and she tries to get a lead on her true parentage.
