SUMMER DATE

Young romance buds at a northern Michigan resort, Little Harbour, when sixteen year old Anne Gregory goes to spend the summer there on her Grandmother's farm. First Anne meets Joe Gage, a rich boy and a resorter. Then she meets Hugh Nelson, her Grandmother's summer farm hand, a native of Little Harbour and a boy with a more understanding outlook on life. Anne's test of fire- through excursions, summer dances, getting to know both villagers and vacationers is to get the right perspective on social acceptability and realize that money and position aren't everything. Salubrious solutions for teens on tenterhooks.
