DAVID AND DIANE

All to do with the twins of the title, this concerns itself with the blow that Diane suffers when David marries while she is holidaying in California. This gesture of independence so riles Diana on her return home to Ohio that all around her suffer because of her displeasure and it takes her understanding aunt and a mighty fine young doctor to persuade her into some degree of decency and unselfishness, while two murder charges against David's wife give him the opportunity to prove his strength against his possessive sister. Diane's bitter lessons and her attendant drama offer tougher, if lower scale, fiction for the uncritical reader.
