KIRKUS REVIEW

In the ""Men-at-work"" Series, the story and pictures show the steps from the farmer to the truck-driver who brings the baked loaf of bread. More interesting details than most factual books for this age, particularly in the sections dealing with the actual making of the bread. From the land, to the granary, and the mills, grain elevators, and the baking processes, this shows how they resemble, and how they differ in the methods of making bread from those used by grandmother on the farm.
