Trumpet's a puppy, and joins the favorite team of Peter Churchmouse and Gabriel Churchkitten. He is howling persistently and causing trouble to his friends and to the parson -- but it stops when the new tooth comes through. I think it is funny, and the children will too. And the pictures are beguiling.
