GABRIEL CHURCHKITTEN AND THE MOTHS

Another in this popular series about Peter Churchmouse, Trumpet, the dog, and Gabriel Churchkitten. This time the three friends are faced with a threat to Gabriel. Parson Pease-Porridge talks about a moth-eaten cat and the friends try to fix Gabriel's coat. Gold paint, glue and comphor balls are only some of the things the mischievous trio tangle with. A string of fresh, naughty adventures follow which will make any small listener feel virtuous and superior. Margot Austin's pictures are as appealing as ever but the text seems a bit long winded. Funny enough to please her host of admirers.
