QUICK GOURMET DINNERS

Quick, yes. . .gourmet, pas trop. . .and easy, in some cases as simple as that chocolate wafer-whipped cream standby or assembling the peach and the melba. The recipes are arranged by season and category; there are suggestions for the right accompaniments and wines for each meat dish (half you can prepare ahead -- the other half don't take much time). Most of them the experienced cook will have met before in some form or other and the appetizers, in particular, seem very tasty. All in all, a nice extra cookbook for that extra occasion.
