A child who had spent his first three years in a coma might be enlightened to learn that he has ""one round head,"" ""one small nose,"" ""one wet tongue,"" ""two open ears,"" ""five wiggling toes,"" etc.; so, presumably, might the child who's been so neglected that he has no sense of self. And Karla Kuskin's inventive layouts and perky drawings do make self-discovery seem like fun. But for the majority, the name of the game will be boredom.
