COPPER-TOED BOOTS

This is tops -- measures up to my favorite Henner's Lydia as a sound American background book, but with wider appeal in that it is a typical American small town setting and a story of a very real small boy, whose ambition in life consisted of two things, -- copper-toed boots and a dog of his own. Delightful pictures.
