DOGS IN THE FIELD by Marguerite Kirmse

If you haven't placed your order don't even stop to read this until you have secured the limit you can sell, for it won't last a second once people see it. First the stunning box in brown with a maroon leather inset, lettered in gold, then a folder with six exquisite leaves suitable for framing, then the book equally stunning, brown cloth with three-quarter leather binding in the same maroon and end papers that are the most enchanting you have ever seen. Then an original signed etching in sepia tones, followed by pages of sketches that are absolutely indescribable. Any attempt would look like a list of superlative adjectives and still you'd have to see the rows of puppies with faces, ears, tails and paws askew, the setters back-standing when one has the scent, the springers retrieving a grand grouse, labradors, cockers and all the noble army of good sports, Dogs in the Field -- and with all this it is -- -- -- only -- -- --
