KIRKUS REVIEW

A nostrum which concerns Anne Austin, registered nurse and air hostess, who is brave to the point of heroism after a plane crash in Canada, but rather chicken in her relationship to Staff, her fiance, and a petulant, suspicious young man. Staff does not take to country doctoring- as she had hoped- but wants an upper bracket practice which he gets as lapdog in a private sanitarium- at the same time as he protracts his engagement to Anne. But a cataract operation for her mother takes Anne back to Canada, and a wonderful Dr. Roy who wins her love and offers a more desirable future... Slow heartbeat.
