KIRKUS REVIEW

A sequel to Paula -- but in spite of its title, the story deals more with vacations than with school. The period is around 1894, the setting in and near Chicago. A pleasant story, a touch sentimental -- and Paula is almost too good to be true. As for the illustrations, what has happened to Maginel Wright Barney?
