CASSEROLE COOKERY by Marian A Nino Tracy

I tried one of them tonight (ham and oyster pie) with great success. There are more on which I cast a curious eye- a pretty high average out of 150 recipes. Good arrangement (let's hope there'll he a good index, though it is not indicated on the proof); each page has a menu at the side, main dish, interesting salad, accessories -- boxed, the recipe for the caerols dish. Very modern in its use of frozen foods, fried foods, etc. Certainly a step up from delicatessen table fare, and with plenty of good suggestions for leftovers. Spiral binding. Washable.
