RAIN OR SHINE: The Story of Weather

A useful book, with not only the basic facts about climate and weather, its whys and wherefores, about winds and ocean currents, about mysteries of the arctic regions and volcances, about changes in climate and the science of weather, but also an odd collection of bits of information that it is fun to have tucked away for the moment when one shines by reflected glory in the knowledge of strange facts. I found it interesting reading and at no time written down for younger readers.
