PANDORA'S BOX: The Story of Conservation

A splendid book for both children and adults on the need for conservation. First the story of our squandering this country's natural resources and upsetting the ""balance of nature"": then the panacea which includes the work of the Audubon Society, the government, biologists, and economists to educate the people. It reads like a novel -- a tragic novel of waste, greed, and destruction. The conclusion is a challenge to the reader.
