THE WORLD WITH A FENCE

Light fiction -- looking up. A good story, better told than the average, and should go extremely well with the Norris -- Rosman fans. There is a swift-paced story of a small town girl who goes to a Southern town to teach school -- and to find out about life. Clash of modern viewpoint and Southern traditions -- of the old codes and the new. Good background in school settings, convincing human relations, and a certain perspective and humor. The publishers will have promotion material -- and plan to back it well.
