THE STAG AT EASE

Last year Putnam published a cook book for men, and included a good many specialties of literary celebrities. Now comes this cookbook of favorite foods of almost everyone you can think of offhand in public life. Good ideas for catering to men -- a book that might be made the basis of specialties in a restaurant, and that will also give the housewife some good leads. All sorts of things jumbled together -- which makes it a who's who and what they like to eat (and how the things are prepared as an afterthought), rather than a conventionally arranged cookbook. Makes it fun to dip into.
