MISS FLORA McFLIMSEY'S BIRTHDAY

Another little book with a small story for tiny people- about miniscule Miss Flora McFlimsey who went a-venturing on her birthday. But size doesn't shut out a moral. At home in the doll house, Miss Flora feels neglected because her companions have forgotten her birthday and so she packs up and goes to visit the Puffin birds in Puffin Land. But their chatter scares her and she returns to find a surprise party and to reach the conclusion that home and old friends are best. The author's miniature drawings of birds and dolls are in soft colors and their rounded contours carry much of the sentiment.
