MISS FLORA MC FLIMSEY'S MAY DAY

As you sow, so shall ye reap--and so, again, shall Miss Flora McFlimsey. Or, as Poo Coo the cat says pointedly on May Day, ""pretty is as pretty does."" Forgetting to feel sorry for herself, Miss Flora McFlimsey babysits for Mrs. Porcupine (a ticklish job) and helps Mrs. Cotton Tail make flowered hats; on her way home to feed Poo Coo, she finds her animal friends assembled to crown her Queen of the May. On other occasions, Miss Flora McFlimsey has been more pathetic, and other occasions (Christmas, Easter, etc.) have been per se more significant, which doesn't make this better or worse--and little girls who love the little doll won't discern any difference.
