KIRKUS REVIEW

.... saves his young master's electrician daddy from having to tear down a partition in the schoolhouse when he's induced to crawl through a conduit- dragging his small leash and a wires behind him. After Hank acquires Herbert, he trains him- Pavlev trained his dog- to expect food at the sound of a bell, and walks him- as de Musset did his lobster on the streets of Paris not so very long ago- on a leash. Naturally when the circuit breaks at school, Herbert performs, and Fank's duly rewarded. Negative charge?
