Will Florida Burns, ""Tell Me Everything"" correspondent with hopes of displacing the Queen of Dish (you know Rona, with curls like ""patent leather potato chips"") make it? Will Marcie Lester, who reads for Metropolitan Pictures and has exhausted all human potential movements? Will Peaches Rosen (the best off--she has a man) who's a kind of plant-visiting-nurse mulching and watering the philodendrons of the rich and famous? Will Marie Brenner make it--or has she--since she's a New York magazine writer and part of this will appear in Esquire? Maybe, she's a brassy honcha even if she can't string a plot together any better than Florida's items. But she's great at accumulating and assembling everything that's around. Names, names, names--you name it, she drops it. Of course in between there are some men: Mike Markman who runs a chain of taco parlors until he gets into real money problems; Ezra Matthews who's got a New York City Cultural Affairs job; and Jason Jaffe who's an actor if he works at all in between great ""cosmic fucks."" Marie Brenner is in a class with say Gall Parent, talking a fast and sometimes funny game even if you may reach the point when you'd like to see her lip bobbed.
