KIRKUS REVIEW

There is sound background of science and experience in the preparation of of this important picture-story-book on the growth of a baby through the embryonic stages to the baby's first smile. The drawings are enchanting, but it is the text will give this book a permanent place and help solve the problem for many parents and doctors and teachers. There is a poetic, rhythmic quality that makes it a beautiful thing.
