A fairy tale de luxe, definitely keyed to this 6 to 9 age group, but mechanically somewhat difficult for any but good beginning readers. Again a prince has been turned into a dragon; again he must be turned back into a prince when a human willingly gives him a flower. And this time it is a blind goosegirl who fulfills the requirements, for her blindness conceals from her the very things that frighten the country folk about the poor loving dragon. I've not seen the pictures, but Marie Lawson can be depended on to combine story quality and decorative sense in her illustrations, 52 pages.
