KIRKUS REVIEW

In line with The Wonder World of Animals, The Wonder World of Insects, etc., this presents a series of brightly diagrammed facts which, though not always connected or set in an explanatory background, should impart some interesting information. Among the strange plants are the fly catcher, the banyan, cactus, etc., and the note on each comments on the outstanding characteristics. Various strange ways and means of pollination are also included, but the end effect is rather like a floral believe-it-or-not and will need some deeper text to supplement it.
