WHAT TO EAT AND HOW TO COOK IT

When I retire I think one of the things I want to do is to collect my favorite cookbooks around me, and go to it. Diet will go by the boards (but I may be too old to care about my figure), and I'll have a good time. This will be one of the books. Written by an engineer's wife, who has had to cook in all sorts of places, under all sorts of conditions. Here she pools her findings, -- the right recipe, the right combination of foods, and introductory lists which recall things one may have forgotten. Not all inclusive, but with plenty of variety, and plenty of originality, in each of the established classifications.
