THE FUN OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Good, thorough how-to-do book which emphasizes, more than most such books, the values and problems of composition, even in candid camera shots, which should be rehearsed so that they combine pictorial worth with informality. Commonsense in other matters, posing, camera tricks, darkroom equipment, developing, plain and fancy printing, safe advice on the expense side. It lacks the charm and humor of Richard Simon's book, but amplifies many of his points.
