KIRKUS REVIEW

The Italian artists who collaborated on Hanimations (1989) again use skillfully painted hands to represent their subjects--in this case, soccer players and officials in vigorous action, and even a mass of fans represented by ""made-up"" finger tips. (Ironically, the game proscribes the use of hands--hence the title.) A remarkably creative curiosity that should inspire the visual imagination of any child.
