Another welcome return for the oddball spinster sisters Amy and Effy Tribble--who grow more charming with every outing. This time, they take on not only a particularly ""difficult"" (i.e., seemingly unmarriageable) new charge--the pretty but rather spacey Maria--but that charge's crude and vulgar parents. The parents, it'll turn out, are the ones who need the grooming, the prepping, the rough edges smoothed out. And, of course, all ends well, with the requisite prince charming--cold and arrogant initially, hopelessly in love by book's end--on hand as well. A deservedly popular series that gets only better.
