GEORGIE'S PETS

Most little boys want live creatures as pets, and Georgie was no exception. But he reluctantly agreed, after a time, that his bluebird belonged to the skies, and his lamb would be happier on the farm, his raccoon in the woods, his monkey in the zoo. But in each case, it took rather drastic evidence to show him. Finally, his borrowed pet, Katie, solved the problem by having puppies. Vera Neville pictures in black and white are not up to her best, but are adequate.
