KIRKUS REVIEW

In this day of moving into smaller space to reduce the cost of living or moving into town because of fuel conditions or going to a new place to keep up with Dad, there will be many girls trying to make their new rooms more attractive, not to mention all these who would like to gay up their old ones. This is a most attractive book and covers many topics, color, carpentry work, floors, screens, scrapbooks, patchwork, stage models, paper sculpture, slip covers, flowers, pictures and so on. Many of the sketches done by the author are of furniture shown in W. and J. Sloane. Many adults will want this.
