SOLDIER SAMMY

Good modern touch in this story of a soldier's son who wanted, more than anything, to match with the real soldiers in the parade before the general. He runs away from his mother and falls in line -- and then a puppy disrupts everything and Sammy catches and holds him, thus saving the parade from failure.
